In 1999, Bro Jerry Smith and John Bryant spent hours in prayer and discussion about the way God was opening doors, the great need among our churches for a video ministry and how we could effectively use Jerry’s gifts and talents to help missionaries and churches of the ABA. The result of that was the forming of ABAmedia. Our desire was to be a blessing to missionaries, ministries and churches throughout the ABA and many of you have partnered with us to accomplish this task.
Our desire has not changed, but as we should all be aware of by now, the methods required to reach the current generation is always evolving. We’ve recently taken steps to re-evaluate the purpose of ABAmedia and feel that there are 2 areas that need our focus.
- The 1st is to provide Technical Training and Equipment Installation. We often get questions dealing with purchasing, troubleshooting, & repairing everything from cameras and sound equipment to software and computers. We also frequently get asked about how to stream services online as well as how to install and use this equipment.
- The 2nd is Video & Audio Production. This is simply us producing videos, as we have for years, on location. The videos we produce are used to help raise support and awareness for missions, advertise churches in their communities, and promote various ministries throughout the ABA.
We ask that you partner with us in praying for ABAmedia and sharing our content with others, so that we might be more effective.

Times and technology have dramatically changed since we first started and we are excited about the direction and plans for the future of ABAmedia.
